Coding & Data Science
Students of classes 6th and 7th are learning Scratch, Make code Arcade and HTML-Hypertext Mark-up Language. Students of class 8 are learning Data Science through Python and R language. They are making games, websites and data science projects in the Computers Skill Based Activities.
Learning these activities will be very important for India’s future and India’s leadership role in the numerous upcoming fields and professions.

Design Thinking and Innovation
The students of Design Thinking and Innovation Club, from Class VIII, set up their stall during the Senior School PTM on Saturday, 22 July 2023.
They exhibited different innovative ideas, concepts and business plans they had come up with during their classes, and also the designs of various prototypes which they had digitally created.
They enthusiastically interacted with the parents and the teachers and shared their dreams, vision and values in designing their products.
The exhibition provided them with social exposure and helped them to understand the market value and utility of their product, thereby giving them insights into the modifications required.
It was indeed a fruitful and enriching experience for them.

Handicrafts and Stitch Activity
Tagore international brings to you the stitch and handicrafts club 2023. We have integrated handicrafts and stitch club together, which makes it possible to bring creative artworks to life, It encourages the creativity of our students and bring them closer to our country’s traditional handicraft, because integration of organic creative skills is the way ahead, in this era of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI&ML).

Eco club students of class VII did a paper bag activity. Paper bag making projects encourage creativity and innovation among students. Poster making on water conservation. Best out of waste activity. By engaging in hands-on activities, students learn about the effort and creativity required to make sustainable choices.

Students of classes VII and VIII celebrated the street food festival by making variety of street food dishes from around the country like modified golgappas, rajkachori, chat pati aloo chaat and sumptuous fruit custard.
They displayed outstanding culinary skills during their club activity period.

Mask Making Activity
To meet the requirements of the practical world and prepare the students with the skills which can help them adapt and excel in the progressive times, The Mask Making Club has introduced students to the masks of the different Indian states. Students of VI to VIII explore symmetry in different shapes through hands down, fun based activities thus inculcating in themselves skills and imbibing values at the same time.

Aerobics Activity
Aerobics is a form of physical exercise that combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching and strength training routines with the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness). It is usually performed to music and may be practiced in a group setting led by an instructor. With the goal of preventing illness and promoting physical fitness, practitioners perform various routines comprising a number of different dance-like exercises. Our aerobics classes are divided into different levels of intensity and complexity and have five components: warm-up (5–10 minutes), cardiovascular conditioning (25–30 minutes), muscular strength and conditioning (10–15 minutes), cool-down (5–8 minutes) and stretching and flexibility (5–8 minutes).

The students of class 6, 7 and 8 learnt basics and some popular western music during the first half of the session 2024-2025. They learnt how to unleash the musical talent in them. They learned many songs by popular singers like, Bella Ciao by La Casa De Papel, Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple, Believer by Imagine Dragons, The Final Countdown by Europe, count on me by Bruno Mars, Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Music, Conquest of Paradise, Godfather theme music, Harry Potter theme music, Faded by Alan Walker and Coffin Dance by Tony Igy. The students individually played these songs in their classes which take place weekly. Later the individual performances were combined and added into a group. The final result was really good. The students are taught how to play the instruments while keeping in mind the basics of instrumental music such as melody and rhythm. Overall, the result was quite pleasing and helped the students to unlock a new skill activity which will help them in their future endeavours.

Quiz Activity
QUIZZING IS FUN AND IF LEARNING IS FUN, WE LEARN BETTER.
Quizzing is not just about GK, but about connecting the dots, reading between the lines and arriving at a conclusion. The quiz club aims to give them guidance on specific areas of Quizzing and encourage them to participate in quizzes. It also teaches them interpersonal skills, as most competitive quizzing is conducted for teams of two or more and teamwork is the only way to success. The more they play quizzes the better equipped they become for quickly recalling the information required to answer questions. The sessions aim to increase awareness about Indian Heritage, Sports and Entertainment, Mythology, Literature, Science and Technology, Business and Politics.

Wellness is the complete integration of body, mind, and spirit. The realization that everything we do, think, feel and believe has an effect on our state of well-being.
Wellness is a holistic approach to health that encompasses physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
It is designed with a concept that will not only help the students to introspect themselves, but also will help the mentors to reproach their way of tackling the situation. It emphasising on the importance of ‘Body Language’ in communication, Time Management etc.
‘Body Language’ in communication illustrates how we often reveal our innermost feelings unconsciously through non-verbal cues like facial expression, gestures, body posture etc., which are powerful communication tools.
Time Management is very important because it is something that will help us throughout our lives. Time management involves planning and controlling as to how much time to spend on specific activities, which helps an individual to get more work done in less time.
Generation Global and Debate Activity
“Young people are open-minded global citizens who leverage intercultural dialogue to engage with diversity and navigate global challenges.”
The Generation Global and Debate Skill Activity aims to help students of classes 6 to 8 to enhance their speaking, communication and listening skills. We organise debates on various topics in groups in order to encourage collaborative work and students can present their thoughts, while opening their minds to other perspectives.
The members engage in brainstorming sessions to generate potential arguments and counterarguments related to the debate topics. The presentations cover key arguments, relevant statistics, and historical context to provide a solid foundation for the upcoming debates. Following the presentations, the members explore diverse perspectives and build a well-rounded understanding of the issues. The participants are
usually divided into teams to ensure structured and organized debates. Each team consists of a mix of experienced and new debaters to encourage skill development and collaboration. Each member had a predetermined time limit to present their viewpoint and respond to potential challenges posed by the
opposing team. The audience has the opportunity to pose questions and this interactive session
encourages critical thinking and provides clarity on specific aspects of the debate. Debates were conducted on varied topics like Global Warming, History is an Obsolete Subject, Grammar or Conversational Skills?, Newspapers are a Thing of the Past,etc. Students get a chance to hone their reflective and questioning skills as they are motivated to ask relevant questions.
The members are also enlightened about the Generation Global flagship education programme of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. They help young people embrace their future, equipped with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to become active, global and open-minded citizens. The five core skills that we lay emphasis on are Global Communication, Active Listening, Critical Thinking, Asking Questions and Reflection. Through an interactive session and engaging discussion, students gain valuable insights helpful to become active, open-minded and global citizens.
The Generation Global and Debate Club weekly meetings prove to be both informative and engaging, as members dive into the intricacies of the topics given. The structured format allows for a well-organized
exchange of ideas and fosters the development of critical thinking and public speaking skills among participants.

Cinematography and Photography are both a science and an art and we believe that it should be taught in a way that is both focused on beauty and applicability. The mission of this skill activity is to provide a supportive environment for students to share their creativity, knowledge and passion for videos and photography. It is a delicate art that combines your creative skills and technical expertise to make pictures come alive.
We believe that learning a new skill helps in boosting a child’s self-esteem. It also helps encourage and develop planning & presentation skills while students have the opportunity to be creative and innovative.
With a camera and a clear vision, a photography and videography can be worth a thousand words. We offer a range of exciting and valuable learning experiences, not to forget some great experiences.

The skill club aims to familiarise the students about the importance of tourism as an economic activity for the country and appraise them about the culture of our country.
Club Activities: Students shared about the different places they have toured in India during their summer break and their experiences. Later they participated in group discussion on importance of tourism, components of tourism. Students selected Lakshadweep as their destination, for which they wanted to do research and plan travel to. The students were divided into 2 groups for the extensive research and planning.
The students were engaged in several activities: research, discussion and a detailed brochure making activity. The brochure included:
- Places of attraction
- Ways to reach
- Options of accommodation
- Special mention of the fairs/festivals to be attended
- Authentic food items
These activities help them develop their research skills, presentation skills, debating skills while working as a team.
