A highly interactive workshop on Critical Thinking was conducted by Mr. Abhinav @abhinavsinghal1982 , focusing on a STEM-based design challenge. POCSO Workshop for teachers held on 01.04.2024

Recently, a workshop was organized specifically for teachers focusing on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Dr. Kavita Magmnani, currently serving as the Director of Restorative Care at HAQ: Centre for Child Rights and a seasoned clinical psychologist and counselor, and Kumar Shailabh, Head of Programmes at HAQ: Centre for Child Rights, were key figures facilitating the workshop.

Dr. Magmnani provided insights into the psychological ramifications of child sexual abuse, emphasizing trauma-informed approaches to support survivors. Ms Dimple Madan (PGT Biology) and Ms Pooja Kohli (PGT Chemistry) attended an Exclusive Workshop on Forensic Sciences by Prof. Dr. Paola Magni.

Dr. Paola shared the most updated research in forensics as well as a number of real cases in which insects, crustaceans, molluscs, microorganisms and plants were the first witnesses of a crime and were used to gain key information for the success of the investigation.

It was an interactive and interesting session and the teachers got an insight into updated forensic research on Crime, Critters and Clues.
